Henry Clapp of Capt. Joshua born April 6, 1840 confirmed Nov. 21, 1852 by Rev. G. W. Welker, died Aug. 29, 1861, at camp in the war.

Henry M. Clapp

Residence Guilford County NC; Enlisted on 6/4/1861 at Guilford County, NC as a Sergeant.

On 6/4/1861 he mustered into "M" Co. NC 21st Infantry He died of disease on 8/29/1861 at Manassas, VA 

(Died of typhoid fever)
