Warren Bristol, in the Bristol Genelogy, p. 40, says that Henry Bristol b 1748/9" … m Lois Tuttle b 21 May 1760 dau Timothy and Hannah (Warham) Tuttle." George Tuttle, in the Tuttle Genealogy, p. 514, says, "Lois (Tuttle), b. May 21, 1760; m. Henry Bristol." Since this Henry died in 1772, and this Lois was born in 1760, it appears that the compilers erred in their identification of the respective spouses. It is not certain that either ever married.
