HUMBERGER HELEN HIRZEL

Helen Hirzel Humberger, 89, of Oregon OH, passed away on Sunday, Janua ry 6, 2002, in the home of her son. She was born on June 20, 1912, to Erne st and Emily Hirzel. Helen spent her early years working at the family co al yard before her marriage to Walter Humberger, who preceded her in dea th in 1998 after 66 years of marriage. Helen was a life member of Memori al United Church of Christ and the Toledo Swiss Ladies. Mrs. Humberger w as also a long time voting booth worker at Oregon #2 Firestation. Surviving are her sons, Walter (Jeanette) Humberger Jr and Ernie (Carol) H umberger; daughters, LaVonda Thiel and Helen (Joe) Frobase; sister, Elisab eth Hecklinger; grandchildren, Dean and Gary Humberger, George Thiel, Heat her and Alyssa Frobase, Jade Berl, Cincy Gould; great-grandchildren, Lydi a, Spencer, Zachary, Seth, and Cole, Normandie Berl. She was also preced ed in death by sister, Olga Bollinger and great-granddaughter, Stephanie H umberger. Friends may call at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Rd Chapel, 4 40 S Coy Rd at Starr Avenue, where visitation will be Tuesday from 5-9 p. m. and Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Thurs day at 11 a.m. in Memorial United Church of Christ, Starr Ave. at Plymou th St. Interment will follow in Lake Twp Cemetery.
