WARREN - Harry J. Wardwell, 83, of 318 Mantua Drive, Venice, Fla., and 7 Champion Ave., West Brookfield, formerly of Nelligan Terrace, died yesterday in Venice Hospital after an illness. He leaves his wife, Katherine (Nelligan) Wardwell; and two nephews. He was born in Berlin, N.H., and lived here 15 years before moving to Florida in 1972. He spent many summers in West Brookfield. He was a mechanical engineer for 15 year at Warren Pumps Inc., retiring in 1972. He previously worked at Yale & Towne Co. in Stamford, Conn. Mr. Wardwell was a member of Quaboag Lodge of Masons and Dunroamin Country Club in Gilbertville. He was a former trustee and member of the board of investment of Warren Savings Bank. Mr. Wardwell graduated from Berlin High School and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. Funeral services will be held Monday in Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. After cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
