Harry a step-son of Maud McCreery Gorton, lived in San Diego when she died in Sept 1929 per her obit 5 Sep 1929. "of CA" in May 1930 when his father died (in Pasadena, home of daughter, where he had gone from White the prior fall), not able to be in White, SD, for funeral service, "ill and unable to make the long journey from CA."
