Harriet M Jenkins, 80, of Route 1, was killed about 6:30 pm Friday when the auto in which she was a passenger struck a tree. The driver of the auto was her husband Gordon Jenkins, 80, who suffered a broken jaw. Funeral services for Mrs. Jenkins will be at 2 pm Monday in the Connelly-Noble Funeral Home at Three Oaks, Rev. Willard Gilroy, Paster of Galien United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery. Harriet was born July 31, 1892 in Three Oaks Twp. where she had lived most of her life. She was married October 19, 1921 in Three Oaks. Also surviving are a son Howard of Three Oaks; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Dickey of Galien and Mrs. David Barnes of West Linn, Oregon and nine grandchildren.
