    Harold Devon Showley, Nov. 26, 1916-June 18, 2005, Harold Devon SHOWLEY, 88, of 7521 Cowles North Blvd., San Diego, Calif., formerly of Rural Route 2, Kewanna, passed away at 12:43 p.m. PST Saturday at Scripps Mercy Hospital, San Diego, Calif. Born on Nov. 26, 1916, in Liberty Township near Fulton, he was the son of Alfred and Sadie Spotts Showley. He married Doveda Rouch on Feb. 20, 1937, in Fulton. She preceded him in death in April 1984. His second marriage was to Lois Lucille Rouse Williams on Dec. 27, 1984. She survives at home. Mr. Showley lived in California since 1984 after he moved from his farm near Kewanna. He retired from farming in 1980 and was a member of the Fulton E.U.B. Church, the San Carlos United Methodist Church, San Diego, Calif., and a 21-year Board of Directors member of Fulton County REMC. He served on the State Board of Directors for Indiana State Wide for 15 years and was elected to two terms as a county councilman, Wayne Township trustee and served on the Wayne Township Advisory Board for two terms. He was also a Caston School Board member for several years and a member of the BPOE Lodge in Rochester and the Fulton County Historical Society. Surviving with his wife are one daughter, Loretta Showley-Zeronik and husband Robert, Indianapolis; two sons, Larry Showley and wife Marti, and Lon Showley and wife Carolyn, all of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, Deborah Millar, Melanie Ondek, Matthew Showley, all of California, and Andrew Zeronik of Indiana; and two great-grandchildren, Carissa Ann Ondek and Trinity Ondek, both of California; and one sister, Eldonna Wilson of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, four sisters and three brothers. His funeral service is 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Indiana 14 West, Rochester. Burial is at Fulton Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to his service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fulton United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
