Gouverneur Tribune-Press, 9 Oct 1985: HAROLD L. LOOKER Harold L. Looker, 72, Town of Fowler, retired Edward John Noble Hospital maintenance worker and trucker, died Monday, Oct 7, 1985, at 9:43 a.m. at the Noble Hospital where he had been admitted Friday. A memorial service will be conducted at Burr-Green Funeral Home at a time to be announced. There will be no calling hours. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; three sons: Robert, Gouverneur; Leal, Calcium and Andrew, Gouverneur; three daughters, Mary Warren, Albuquerque, N.M.; Ann Donaldson, Gouverneur and Betty Jane Wood, Kentucky; four step-children, Stanley Parody and Willis Smith,Gouverneur; and Gladys Storie and Janet Miller. Texas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was born at Fulton, March 3, 1913, son of Leal and Mary Ouderkirk Looker. He attended Watertown schools. For several years he lived at Adams while working for the Knowlton Paper Co. in Watertown. In 1954 he moved to Gouverneur, where he was employed in the maintenance department of Edward John Noble Hospital for 17 years and also operated an area trucking business.

Ogdensburg Journal, 9 Oct 1985: HAROLD LOOKER Gouverneur-- A memorial service for Harold Looker, 72, of the Town of Fowler, will be held Thursday.... at the Burr-Green Funeral Home in Gouverneur with Rev. Emile LaLonde officiating. Burial will be in the North Watertown Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Mr. Looker died at 9:43 p.m. Monday (Oct. 7, 1985) at the E.J. Noble Hospital in Gouverneur where he had been a patient since Oct. 4. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor; three sons, Robert and Andrew, both of Gouverneur; Leal of Calcium; three daughters, Mary Warren of Albuquerque, N.M., Ann Donaldson of Gouverneur, Betty Jane Wood of Kentucky; two stepsons, Stanley Parody and Willis Smith, both of Gouverneur; two step-daughters, Gladys Storie and Janet Miller, both of Texas; several grandchildren. Mr. Looker was born in Fulton, N.Y. on March 3, 1913, son of Leal and Mary Ouderkirk Looker. He attended Watertown schools and was employed at the Knowlton Paper Co. in Watertown. He moved to Gouverneur in 1954 where he worked at E.J. Noble Hospital in the maintenance department for 17 years. He also operated a trash removal business in the Gouverneur area for several years. He married Eleanor Richardson on Dec. 31,1970 in Hailesboro
