Harold Rudolph "Rudy" Evans

Jackson - Mr. Harold Rudolph (Rudy) Evans, age 85 of Jackson, passed away on Sunday morning, December 31, 2017, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was born in Parrish County, Alabama on July 21, 1932, the son of the late Victor and Nola Evans.

He was a retired Quality Control Specialist with the Federal Government.

He was a faithful member of Englewood Baptist Church. A long-time member of the church choir and the church counting committee, he loved singing, fishing, his family, and most of all, Jesus.

He is survived by his son, Tracy Evans (Pat) of Jackson; daughters. Amy Evans Smith (Ken) of Kansas City, MO, Connie Evans Brown (Jeff) of Irving, TX, and Cindy Evans Seeley (Ric) of Brighton, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Ross Seeley, Nathan Smith, Katie Evans, Chris Seeley (Rachael), Micah Smith (Kathryn), Rebecca Evans O'Malley (Michael), Joel Smith, Mitchell Evans, Sarah Brown, Evangelyn Smith Powers (Judah), Abigail Evans, and Grace Smith; and great grandchildren, Alexis Seeley, Maliyah Seeley, and Rudy Seeley.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at George A. Smith & Sons North Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. also at George A Smith & Sons North Chapel with Ken Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgecrest Cemetery
