'Rev. Daniel Boardman was twice married; first, Feb. 26, 1716-7, to Hannah Wheeler of Milford, who bore him one daughter and died June 20, 1719. The record by his own hand in his Family Bible reads: " ... My well-beloved, tender companion, and yoke-fellow departed this life, June 20, New Milford, Anno Christi 1719, on a Sabbath morning, at the break of day." '
