Children of Jonathan Thomas and Mary Steward: Hannah, b. Middleborough 24 Sep 1704, m. (1) Middleborough 6 Aug 1734 Joseph Jennings, "and prob. (2) Seth Cary".
[Note: the second marriage would appear to be confirmed by the Plymouth Deed Vol. 41, p. 123 reverse with sister Lydia and brother David. Seth Cary m. 9 Apr 1752 "Hannah Gennings" in Windham, CT. (according to Barbour, original here, 1:314. This would imply that she divorced Joseph sometime before this. However, there is a problem with some of these dates, since the deed is dated 13 Apr 1751 (i.e., before the specified marriage). According to Source:Cary, Seth C. John Cary, the Plymouth Pilgrim, p. 79, Seth's previous wife d. March 1751, but it also shows his son Seth marrying 1758 Hannah Jennings. One suspects the 1758 date is a misreading of the original record which has some superficial resemblance to 1758. So what records have been found, are ambiguous. More research is needed.]
