In the name of God, Amen.

I, Hannah Miller (widow of Isaac Miller deceased) of the Township of Windsor in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania, being advanced in years, but of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do make this my last will and Testament as follows:

First, I do order and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses to be duly paid and satisfied as soon as Conveniently can be after my decease.

Item. I do given and bequeath to the St. Pauls Church of Windsor Township, the sum of Fifty Dollars for the use of said Church.

Item. I give and bequeath the sum of One hundred Dollars to any on[e] of My Children, who will accept it for keeping My & my husband and my Children Graves and the yard around the same in good order.

Item. It is my will and order that Sarah Sunday (wife of Gideon Sunday) and Elizabeth Jacoby (wife of Josephus Jacoby) shall divide my linen [??] Cloth Coverlets and Towels among all my children after my decease, so as the[y] think just.

Item. It is my will and I do order and direct the rest of my personal property shall be sold by my Executors hereinafter named as soon as Conveniently may be after my decease.

Item. It is my will and I do hereby order and direct that all my Real Estate, which I may have at the time of my decease, Shall be valued and appraised by three men in the neighborhood to be chosen by my Executors hereinafter named, and my four sons Henry S Miller, Isaac S Miller, George S Miller and John Alfred Miller, or any one of them as they may agree may accept of my real estate at the appraisement so thereof made and in case that none of any said four Sons Should accept of my real estate at the appraisement, then I order and direct that my Executor hereinafter named or the Survivors of them shall as soon as Conveniently my be after my decease, Sell and dispose of my real estate to such persons or persons, and for such price or prices, as may be reasonably gotten for the same. And for that purpose I do hereby authorize and empower my Executor hereinafter named, or the survivors of them, to sign, seal, execute, and acknowledge all such deed or deeds of conveyance as may be requisite and necessary for the granting and a the same to the purchase or purchasers thereof in fee simple. And the monies arising from said sales, or acceptance and any outstanding Monies, shall be equally divided to and among my seven children, to wit: Henry S Miller, Isaac S. Miller, George S. Miller, John Alfred Miller, Moses S. Miller, Anna Stoyer (wife of Daniel Stoyer) and Mary Stump (the wife of Nathan Stump) Share and Share alike.

And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my two sons Henry S. Miller and George S. Miller, to be the Executors of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof, I Hannah Miller, have to this my will set my hand and seal this Seventh day of January AD. One thousand eight hundred and Seventy-Six.

I, Hannah Miller,the above named testatrix, do hereby make and publish this codicil, to be added to my last will and testament, bearing date the Seventh day of Janary A.D. 1876, in manner following, to wit:

Whereas in my said will I have given and bequeathed unto my daughter Mary, wife of Nathan Stump, one equal seventh part of my estate, personal and real, to be paid to her after my decease, I do hereby order and direct that my will is that one thousand dollars of said one equal seventh part be paid to my grandson, William Augustus Reimert, and the rest, residue and remainder of said part or share shall be divided equally among William Augustus Reimert, John Stump, Franklin Stump, Ellen Stump, and Amanda Stump, children of my daughter Mary, deceased, late wife of Nathan Stump, share and share alike, and to their heirs and asigns forever.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eighth day of July AD one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two.

[What is interesting about the following is that Nathan Stump signed the receipt twice, once as administrator of his second wife, Mary, daughter of Isaac and Hannah, and once as administrator for Moses, the first husband of his third wife Sybilla and son of Isaac and Hannah.]

In Re: Estate of Isaac Miller Deceased

Whereas two thirds of the within recognizance has been paid and satisfied as appears by release dated the 25th day of April 1857 which was duly signed and acknowledged now we the undersigned heirs and legal representatives of Isaac Miller late of Windsor Township Berks County dec'd do acknowledge that we have this day had and received of and from Henry S. Miller and George S. Miller Executors of the last will and testament of Hannah Miller dec'd our respective shares of and in the remaining one third of the within recognizance remaining as a dower charged during the life of said Hannah Miller widow of said Isaac Miller deceased on all that part of the within described real estate to wit all that certain part bounded by lands of William Merkel jacob Boyer Jeremiah Strausser and St. Paul's church containing thirty-seven acres and ninety-three perches [= 1 square rod] be the same more or less and we hereby release the same from all claim and demand - and we the said Henry S. Miller and George S. Miller sons of the said Isaac Miller dec'd to hereby acknowledge that we have received our full share of the said one third of the within recognizance as far as the same is charged on the above described thirty-seven acres and ninety-three perches and hereby release discharge the same from all claim and demand.

Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 10th day of May A D 1884.

Before me the subscribed a Notary Public for Pennsylvania residing in Reading personally came the above named John Alfred Miller, Isaac S. Miller, George S. Miller, Henry S. Miller, Daniel Stoyer - administrator of Annie Stoyer deceased, Nathan Stump administrator of Mary Stump deceased and Nathan Stump administrator of Moses S. Miller deceased who in due form of law acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be their act and deed to the end that the same might be recorded as such.
