Hannah Porter, daughter of Nehemiah and Hannah (Lum) Porter was born probably at Kensington Parish, on 11 May 1694. She was named in her father's will made 23 May 1722 and received her share from his estate. She apparently was married at this time as Nehemiah left "unto my grandson, the son of my Daughter Hannah, I give the young mare I bought of Sergt. Isaac Hart." Hannah is also named in her brother, Samuel Porter's will made 28 April 1733 and he stated: "I give unto my sister Hannah Porter, alias Castle, 1/6 part of it"
