Obituary
Mrs. Hannah Phelps, 83, who lived her entire life in Marion county died Friday at 7:30 p.m. in St. Mary's hospital. She resided at 1309 S. Locust St.

Mrs. Phelps was born in Patoka, the daughter of Milton W. and Lucy Ann (Pratt) Jackson and in 1887 she married John Phelps at Patoka. She held membership in the Methodist church at Patoka and was a charter member of the Ben Hur lodge.

Survivors are four daughters and a son, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The daughters are Mrs. Lavina Rinkensmeyer and Miss Elsie Phelps of Centralia, Mrs. Mary Lee of St. Louis and Mrs. Mildred Renquist of St. Paul Minn. Her son is Harry Phelps of Centralia. Other survivors include two brothers, Ora Jackson of LaPorte IN, and Floyd Jackson of Egan, S. Dak., and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Smith of Centralia, Mrs. Addie chandler of Patoka and Mrs. Ina Davidson of Boulder.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Queen Boggs Funeral home with the Rev George Hudson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Hannah Phelps of 1309 S. Locust, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital Friday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial services with Rev. George Hudson officiating, will be held from the Queen-Boggs Funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
