"137. Hannah (Cowles), b. ____. (May be Susannah as there is no Hannah in the list of Caleb Cowles children in the Farmington records, but the marriage record says she was dau. of Caleb Cowles); m. June 8 or 9, 1746, Dr. Nathaniel4 Winchell (Nathaniel3, Nathaniel2, Robert1), b. Dec. 23, 1694, at Windsor, Conn.; d. Farmington, Feb. 21, 1768. He was a widower with six children. She died in Farmington, Conn., May 6, 1755. They had one child (Winchell) viz.: Abigail, b. June 1, 1747 in Farmington. (Winchell Gen. 1917, and Town Records.)"
A close examination of the Farmington Vital Records and the Berlin church records indicates that it is more likely that she married Nathaniel5 Winchell who was the Dr. Winchell who died in 1768.
