From his obituary in the San Bernardino County Medical Society bulletin (May/June 2000):

"Retired Loma Linda neurologist Guy M. Hunt, M.D. died February 17 in Hanford. He was a member of SBCMS and CMA for 55 years.
Dr. Hunt was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and graduated from Emmanuel Missionary College (now Andrews University) in that state. He received his medical degree from the College of Medical Evangelists (Loma Linda University) in 1942 and went on to take his residency at the Los Angeles County General Hospital and internship at White Memorial Hospital, Los Angeles, 1950-52. He was board certified in 1955 by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Hunt served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as Captain from 1942-1945. He was a neurologist for Loma Linda University Medical Center for 51 years. He was president of the LLUMC medical staff 1966-68, and received the Distinguished Service Award from Loma Linda University University School of Medicine in 1997. He was a past-president of the Los Angeles Society of Neurology and Psychiatry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, and a member of the Western EEG Society. Dr. Hunt was accomplished in amateur radio, birding and photography. He served on the boards of the San Bernardino Epilepsy Society, Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, the Southern California Multiple Sclerosis Society, and served on the CMA Scientific Advisory Panel on Neurology.
Dr. Hunt is survived by his wife, Ione, two sons, a daughter, a brother and nine grandchildren."

From the program of the 1997 Loma Linda University School of Medicine commencement, where Guy received a Distinguished School Service award:

"Guy M. Hunt, MD, graduated from Loma Linda University in 1942. He interned at Los Angeles County General Hospital and completed a residency in neurology at White Memorial Medical Center in 1952. He joined the LLU department of medicine faculty in 1945. From 1974 until 1976, he served as acting chief of the department's section of neurology and as chief of the section from 1976 until 1981. He was appointed emeritus professor in 1992.
Early in his career, Dr. Hunt demonstrated his personal commitment to the department of anatomy and the basic sciences by establishing the anatomy special fund for research and for support of departmental needs. For many years, the neurology section of the department of medicine contributed a significant portion of EEG laboratory monies toward support of department of anatomy projects."

William P. (b. Nov 1854, Indiana) and Mary E. (b. Nov 1852, Indiana) Wallace are in French Lick, Orange, IN in 1900 census as "Walles". William Pierce (1854-1919) and Mary E. (1852-1933) Wallace tombstone photo on findagrave.com. William Pierce Wallace seems to be son of Samuel Wallace, b. 1826 in Tennessee.
