"Funeral services of G.A. Crook, who died Thursday, January 6, at 6am at his home near Buffalo, are pending arrival of relatives. The service will be at the Buffalo Church with Reverand S.M. Anderson and assisted by Reverend Bob Allison, officiating.

He has lived near Mayfield since 1907. He joined the Baptist Church at Iowa Park, Texas in 1893. The Fatheree Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements."
