Mr. Godfrey S9

The funeral of the late Godfrey Yourth was held Friday afternoon at 1:00o'clock and largely attended not only by residents of Golden Lake and district, but by friends and relatives of the family from Pembroke, Eganville and Killaloe. Mr. Yourth was a lover of music, and for 50 years was a member of the local choir, who paid their last tribute of honor and respect to him at the burial. He was a loyal member of the Evangelical Church from his younger days to the time of his death, and also assumed many official responsibilities. Numerous and beautiful floral tributes were received by the bereaved family, testifying to the esteem in which the late Mr. Yourth was held by his fellow citizen.
