Obituary 

 Mr. A. Wilbur of Grand Rapids and W. McKelly of Reed City, attended the funeral of their brother-in-law, G.C. Carl, last Thursday.

 Mr. G. C. Carl, one of the pioneers of this town, passed away at his residence here, Monday morning, after an illness of a little more than two days.  His wife, one daughter, Mrs. Charlie Humphrey and son, Charlie, and five grandchildren all of this place survive him.  The funeral was held at the Center church, Thursday afternoon, Rev. Tanner of Vestabur, conducting the services.  Interment was made in the Center Cemetery.
