Gerald Fred Laney, 90, of 924 Andover Way, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002.

He was a retired railroad conductor with C&O Railroad-Chessie System for o ver 46 years and a member of Chicopee Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred May Myers Laney; daughters, Faye M Bus ch of West Union and Rhoda Thompson of Goose Creek; four grandchildren; a nd five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6 to 8 tonight at Davenport Funeral Home. Service: 2 p.m. Thur sday at the funeral chapel. Entombment: Oconee Memorial Park Mausoleum. Om it flowers. Memorials: Chicopee Methodist Church, Building Fund, 405 La -Z Rd, Westminster, SC 29693.
