(From Mary Lee Walker-Rodenbaugh frick@@mtnhome.com) Hello Cousin Sally, I will start by saying Your Laura Walker was My G.Grandpa Henry Walker's sister. His Father George Washington Walker was my G.G. Grandpa, and his wife Lenora, my G.G. Grandma. Hardly know where to start. The attachment was found in my Grandpa's old wallet several years after his death. How fortunate, as I had searched for 20 years unsuccessfully for Geo. W. Walker's burial location. You will have to scroll sideways to get both sides of the scrap of paper. Seems that my Grandpa carried his genealogy in his wallet since 1889. I have census records for both the Bloyd's and McCubbin;'s John McCubbin was born C: 1750 in Ireland died 24 April 1909 in Rockingham Co. N.C. -- married--Sappho (London-Lunden-Lunnen) of Baden, Ger. decent who was born 1755 either in Ger. or Maryland (undocumented) died in1827 and was buried in Green county, Ky. They Moved from MaRYLAND to N.C. where all children were born (undocumented) prior to relocating in Green Co. John McCubbin is buried in Rockingham Co. N.C. ???unusual...... They and the Walker's and Bloyd's all came to Green Co. Ky in about 1806. Their 5th child out of 11, Nancy McCubbin B: 1788--married--Stephen Bloyd, in 1806 Nancy was born in Rockingham Co. No. Carolina. she died in Gr. Co. Ky.in 1850. There were 9 issue Lenora was #8 born in 1819,--married George W. Walker --24 oct 1839. They had 8 issue. I am the g. granddaughter of their youngest Henry W. Walker. I have a picture of George Washington Walker and his sons, sorry I don't have one of Lenora and the three girls.
