George G. Snyder

George G. Snyder, 83, of Risingsun, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at Independence House, Fostoria.

He was born Feb. 14, 1921, in Wayne to the late George G. Sr. and Eva (Lom bard) Snyder. He married Betty J. Sworden on April 5, 1942, in Gibsonburg who survives. Other survivors include: three sons, Wm R. of Risingsun, Gary L. of Augusta, Ga., and Thomas L. of Bowling Green; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was a United States Army veteran of World War II serving from July 19 42 to December 1943 and obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant with the Cor ps of Military Police.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Mann-Hare Funeral Home, Fostor ia, with burial in Bradner Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
