Facts and Events
George is assumed to be the Patriarch of the line which includes the dry good merchants of Annapolis, Nova Scotia.
It has been pieced together mainly by naming pattern, dates, and locality - with very few alternatives assuming the families were all from Haddington - and all recorded in the OPRs
See also George's page in the RUNCIMAN One Name Study, and should there be any direct male line RUNCIMAN descendants still around, the RUNCIMAN Surname DNA Project would love to hear from you to find out if there is any connection to the other RUNCIMAN families!
