    Funeral services for George "Mack" McCullough Jr., 76, of Fedor, Texas, St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Texas. Burial in the church cemetery.

    George Stanley McCullough Jr. was born on July 25, 1940 in Austin, Texas, the son of George Sr. & Mary (Bell) McCullough. He graduated from Austin High School and served in the United States Army. Mack was united in marriage to Weaver Jay Marie Ender on January 11, 1964 at Christ Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas by Rev. Theodore Griese.

    He worked as a Draftsman for the City of Austin Water Department for many years. Mack was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln where he was a member of the Men's Club and held various congregational offices. He was also a member of the Giddings Noon Lions Club, the Giddings American Legion Post 276, served as president of the Lee County Seniors Citizens Center and volunteered with Rejuvenation. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. Mack passed away the evening of Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at St. David's Medical Center in Austin.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 49 years, Weaver McCullough and two sisters, Gwen Gillespie and Beth Bloomquist.

    Mack is survived by his two sons, one daughter-in-law, six grandchildren, one great granddaughter, special friend and companion, Gertrude, as well as several nieces and nephews.
