He was married (2d time) to Abiigail Pierpont, (daughter of Thomas and Mary (Hempstead) Pierpont, of Middletown) of New London, Nov. 10, 1763, by Rev. Edward Eels. He died Feb. 7, 1777; she died in Montville, Aug. 30, 1799. Children—Abigail, Rebecca, George, Rebecca, 2d, Joshua, Martha, Jonathan-Pierpont, and George."
