m. Catharina Coelbach in 1763 or earlier. Though baptised Jurrie (from Dutch Juriaan = Uriah, not Joris = George), he was later known as George. The 1778 will of William Crolius mentions brothers John, Peter, and George. ^S2

   "Jurrie, bap. March 5, 1738; m. Catharina Coelbach, in 1763 or earlier. This is doubtless the brother 'George" mentioned in the will of William Crolius. As a matter of fact, "Jurrie" (pronounced Yury) is a contraction of Juriaan, the Dutch for Uriah. The Dutch equivalent of George is Joris, pronounced Yoris."
