1796 Bourbon tax records: "Barnaw", George found in Bourbon (Thomas Gorham not found)

28 June 1796 Thomas Gorham and Peggy his wife (Margaret Cotton), deed to George "Branaugh" (sic), part of land purchased of James Parbery. Witness: Mareen Duvall, Thomas West, John Carter. (Bourbon County Deed Book D, p27) [2] "50 pounds current money of KY for 50 acres on flat run, being a part of a preemption in the name of James Parberry, assignee of Manoah Singleton, bounded by Thomas Gorham's 200 acre survey"

11 Dec 1817 Joshua Gorham to heirs of Thomas Gorham. Whereas Joshua Gorham has set up a claim to a negro woman named Rose and her child Betty by virtue of a pretended purchase from his mother Margaret Gorham deceased… Joshua Gorham now releases his claim to the other heirs in consideration of a final settlement of the estate, retaining his share in common for the two negroes. The heirs named are: William Gorham, John Gorham, Thomas Gorham, Franky Burnoe, the heirs of Sanford Gorham, Alexander Gorham, Margaret Redmon (wife of Thomas Redmon), Betsy Riggs (wife of Thomas Riggs), Anna Beck (wife of John Beck), and Susan Boyd (wife of John Boyd).
