[Note: per a discussion in this source, the death record says "Junior" in one source, "Senior" in the other. Anderson chooses to believe it meant Senior, but the deed cited in the note below shows this was a bad guess. Besides the deed, this is even suggested by the fact that Anderson shows "no further record" for Junior. Further discussion of the bad coverage of this family may be found on the Family page for his marriage.]

  3. Worcester deeds Vol. 10, p. 475, 11 May 1699: Gamaliel Beman of Lancster Yeoman conveys to my son John Beaman of same town Husbandman "with ye free Consent of Sarah my wife" 35 acres on Watuquadock Hill. Signed by Gamaliel Beaman and Sarah Beman. Acknowledged 18 Jun 1701. Note that according to Source:Wooden, Emily Beaman. Beaman and Clark Genealogy : A History of the Descendants of Gamaliel Beaman and Sarah Clark of Rochester and Lancaster, Mass.,, p. 23, he died 1707. This is based on Source:Worcester Magazine and Historical Journal (62888), Vol. 2, p. 39 which gives this date. Find A Grave says the death was 23 Mar 1707, but since the gravestone pictured has a completely different date and clearly belongs to a different person, it has no credibility. No actual death record has been found.
