Obituary

FRED WILLIAM GREIER

 Fred William Greier, aged 63, of R.D. 1. Petersburg, died at 8 a.m. today in the South Side unit of Youngstown Hospital of a stroke.
 Mr. Greier was born May 22, 1878, in Pennsylvania, a son of August and Katherine Young Greier.  He was in the landscaping business and was a member of the Lutheran Church.  He was married June 24, 1931 to Amanda Carlson.  Mr. Greier leaves his wife, a son, Donald, and a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Whetstone, both of Youngstown, six grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Straley of Newton Falls.  His first wife, Dora, died in 1930.
 Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Shriver-Allison South Side Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
