Frank Morley learnt his trade with E. M. Staines, the well known Wormgate Pork Butcher. In 1907 he had started up his own business at 11 Horncastle Road and continued to trade on his own account for 44 years, retiring from the business in 1951, when the shop was taken over by the London Central Meat Co. who remained well into the 1960's.
