Frank and Eveline Hornby purchased the NE 1/4 of Section 18, Township 99 North of Range 33, Emmet Co, Iowa, on September 10, 1890. They came from Sheffield, IL. They had a family of eight children....They were members of the Methodist Church and are buried at Oak Hill Cemetery. ...from Emmet Co History, Vol III. Ltr 15 Mar 1996 from Jeanne Egeland, Emmet Co: Fancis, Eveline, Richard and Burton buried at Oak Hill in Block 8 lot 75, spaces 1,2,3,& 4. "When a small boy he came with his parents to their homestead three miles northeast of Seffield, IL. Here he grew to manhood and then cared for his aged parents.
