Francis was buried on the family farm which is not about 100 yards south of the intersection of Hwy 76 and Broadmouth Church Road. The graves are marked only by large stones laid out in a typical graveyard pattern. There were no memorials at all. The site was marked only by an American Flag and two bunches of cemetery flowers. What was once pasture is now completely overgrown with scrub pine on land owned by Mr. Snipes.
