    Mrs. Jay Alloway of Oswego Vicinity Dies Mrs. Jay Alloway, 70, an old settler in this community, died at the home of a son, Hugh Alloway, in Coffeyville at 10:30 am this morning of pneumonia, according to word received here. Mrs. Alloway lived on the old Alloway place 10 miles southwest of Oswego, most of her time. She was well known among the old settlers of Oswego and Hackberry townships. Her husband died five years ago. Besides her son in Coffeyville she leaves three other sons, Howard of Altamont and Clifford and Clarence of the home southwest of here and one daughter, Mrs. Willliam Fouts, 3141 Washington, Parsons. The funeral will be held some time Wednesday, it was learned with the arrangements in charge of the C.B. Fritz Funeral Home in Bartlett. Burial will be in the Oswego Cemetery.
