Mrs. Florence Eileen (Riehm) Dick of Listowel passed away at Caressant Care, Listowel on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 at the age of 96. Florence was the beloved wife of the late James Dick, who predeceased her in 1976; dear mother of Judy and Russ Danbrook of RR 2, Atwood, and Joyce and Bill Smith of Windsor; grandmother of Jackie and Mike McCourt of RR 2, Atwood, Ryan and Jennifer Danbrook of Cambridge, David Danbrook of Golden, B.C., Jason and Karen Smith of Oakville, and Sara Smith and Dave Lewis of Burlington; and great-grandmother of Sydney, Cooper and Nicholas. She was the sister of Lois Bitton of Listowel. Florence was predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Slight and Elaine Raven. The funeral service was held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m., with visitation for one hour prior. Rev. Steven Cox officiated, with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Trinity United Church, Listowel or Caressant Care Residents Council would be appreciated.
