Florence Davison Brashier, 80, of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at her residence. She was a member of Tiptonville Baptist Church for 60 years. She was a member of the Troy Chapter Eastern Star and a Pink Lady at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Tiptonville with Bro. Steve Carr officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive visitors from 5 pm until 8pm Thursday at First Baptist Church, Tiptonville. Survivors include four daughters, Linda Fears of New Market, Al., Jeannie Nelson of Tiptonville, Judy Quick of Hornbeak, and Lori Benefield of Martin; one sister, Lois Odle of Dresden; and two brothers, Harold Davison and Travis Davison Sr. of Finley; Six grandchildren, Susan Swenford, Robert Calton, Cody Quick, Kellie Quick, Cass Mitchell, and Tyler Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Brashier, a son, Timothy Ray Brashier, and her parents, William and Lucy Junior Davison. Pallbearers will be Joe Davison, Marcus Davison, Travis Davison Jr., Lance Davison, Faron Collins, and Mike French.
