HE WAS A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF LITTLE SILVER Timothy White, Sr., a life-long resident of Little Silver, died yesterday morning at the home of Capt. John Borden at Little Silver Point, where he was removed about three weeks ago. He had been sick since last summer and the primary cause of death was a general breaking down of his system incident to advanced age. He was in his 84th year. The funeral will be held at Captain Borden's on Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev, W. N. Baily of Shrewsbury will have charge of the service. The body will be buried in the Little Silver cemetery. Mr. White was a son of Elizabeth and Capt, Timothy M. White and was born at the old White homestead at Little Silver. Most of his life had been spent in farming. About twelve years ago he sold his farm to William Sherman, who subsequently sold it to E. E. Carlile, the present owner. Since disposing of his farm Mr. White had not engaged in active labor. Sixty years ago Mr. White married Louise Lippincotf, daughter of Charles Lippincott of Little Silver. Mrs. White survives him. The couple were, the parents of a number of children, only one of whom, Felix, lived to any age. Felix died thirty years ago, leaving a son, Fred A, White, who lives at Atlantic Highlands.
