    Faye L. (Forgerson) Brokate, 90, of Fremont passed away Saturday evening at Fremont Memorial Hospital. She was born in Fremont to the late Ward and Helen (Schell) Forgerson. She married Donald L. Brokate on December 3, 1938. He preceded her in death June 2, 2001.

    Faye graduated from Ross High School in 1933. She was the personal secretary for the Fremont Board of Education. She also worked at the Red Cross and United Way offices, and later at the Schmidt Hat and Gift Shop. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, belonging to the Daughters Circle and the Altar Guild. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, and was the Assistant Director of Volunteers. She delivered Mobile Meals, and volunteered in the hospital gift shop. She was also a member of the Home Garden Club. Faye enjoyed her home, flower gardening, and doing needlepoint.


    She is survived by her daughter Linda Arnold of Clyde; granddaughter Leslie (Brian) Thoss, and great-grandchildren Briana and Bryce Thoss all of Clyde.


    Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home 416 S. Arch St.


    Services and Burial will be private.


    Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Hospice of Memorial Hospital, or the American Heart Association.
