Obituary? 12 Feb 2013 Sarasota, Sarasota, Florida, United States In Memory of Evelynn L. Holland October 27, 1925 - February 9, 2013 Evelynn L. Taylor Holland was born October 27, 1925, in Sarasota, Florida and raised in St. Louis, Michigan. She spent 40 years in Dearborn, Michigan, taught for 20 years in Dearborn Public Schools, and retired to Sarasota in 1981. She was an officer of the Sara DeSoto and Allapattah Chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was member of the Greeterettes of the Sahib Shrine Center in Sarasota, Order of the Eastern Star in Dearborn, Michigan. Survivors include three daughters, Sue (Bill) Liddie, Sally (Steve) Redinger and Sandra Kendall, step-daughter Sharon Holland, step-sons Scott (Karen) Holland, and Mark (Julie) Holland, 6 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and one brother, William (Audrey) Taylor. She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Holland.Memorial service will be at 3:00pm, Thursday, February 14, 2013, at St. Armand's Key Lutheran Church, 40 N. Adams Drive, Sarasota. Visitation is 5:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, February 13, at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, 170 N. Honore Ave, Sarasota. Interment will be at Sarasota Memorial Park.Memorial donations may be made to the Allapattah Chapter of the DAR or to the Sahib Shrine Center.
