    Evelyn L. Green, 91, Lenexa, KS, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Sunrise Assisted Living of Lenexa. A Celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Lenexa, KS. Inurnment will take place next to her husband at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield, MO, at a later date.

    Evelyn was born in Roper, KS, on February 22, 1923, to Chester and Goldie (Crumrine) Scott. She worked as a union negotiator for the Pacific Bell Telephone Company before retiring. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck in 2006, and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
