    From the obit that appeared in the Alameda Times-Star on 2/25/06:

    EVELYN A. FAIN Went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2006. She is the wife of the late Bishop Rev. John M. Fain. They pastored the Full Gospel Temple in Hayward, CA for 31 years.

    In all Evelyn resided in Hayward for 53 years. She leaves behind her children, Phyllis and Gary Smith of Elk Grove, CA; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Lester and Nancy Martin of Roseville, CA and many nieces, nephews and friends.

    Preceded in death by children, John D. Fain, Janet and Steven Dowdy late of Troup, TX.

    Her funeral an burial service will be held at Valley of the Sun, Chandler, AZ. Services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Services will be conducted by Rev. Brad Davis and Rev. Thomas Quillen. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to be made to Full Gospel Temple, 27953 East 12th Street, Hayward, CA 94544.
