Mrs. Eva L. Gardner
Mrs. Eva L. Gardner, 94, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Gale, West Farmington, at 10 p.m. Monday.
She was born in Penfield, Oh., Dec. 11, 1855 a daughter of Archibald and Cornelia (Peters) McLean.
She was a member of the West Farmington Methodist Church where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Her husband Charles C. Gardner whom she married Oct. 19, 1876, died in 1937.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph D. and Herbert A., both of Rose Hill, W. Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Florence C. Spencer of Hiram Rapids, Mrs. Lydia <sic> C. Gale of West Farmington, and Mrs. Carol <sic> Alexander of Lakewood; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A son, Charles, died in 1939 and an infant daughter died at birth.
Friends will be received at the Hitchcock Funeral Home in West Farmington, Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Penfield Cemetery, Lorain County.
