  4. The order of the baptism does not necessarily indicate that Eunice is younger than Jabez, since children were often listed by gender. Since Jabez's estimated birth date of 1704 is 28 years after his parents' first child, it seems unlikly they then had another child after him, so Eunice's birth has been estimated as 1702 using her husband's birth in 1701 as a guide.
