Well, did Ethel fudge a bit on where she was born? Or which census is right? In 1900 she is living with her parents in Philadelphia, it is said she was born in Pennsylvania and her parents were born in Ireland. But in later census records Ethel said she was born in New York, her father born in England and her mother in Scotland. So who knows!!
