Ethel Mary Hogg was born on 29 June 1876.1 She was the daughter of Quintin Hogg and Alice Anna Graham.2 She married Major Herbert Frederick Wood, son of Lt.-Col. David E. Wood, on 14 February 1907.1 She died on 29 June 1970 at age 94.1
From 14 February 1907, her married name became Wood. She was Secretary of the London War Pensions Committee between 1914 and 1921.1 She was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1
