The Esther Gleason who was daughter to Fortunatus and Esther Beaman (Bemis, etc.), while much the correct age for James Greene's wife, was married 1803 in Westmoreland, New Hampshire to David Cobb.

Moses Gleason, b. 23 January 1739 in Oxford, Massachusetts, married Mercy Bradway or Bradbury probably in Vermont. Children include Moses, Mercy, Thomas Rion, David, Able, Sarah, and Chester. They resided in Wyoming County, New York from about 1806 until before 1850 when several children removed to Illinois and Michigan.

Chester married an Eliza B. Hewitt, of Genesee Co, New York, daughter of Joseph Hewitt and Jerusha Morse. Information found does not lend to Chester being significant to this family. There remain four other brothers to pursue.
