Listed in 1900 census as a medical student. The 1910 Census lists Edward, age 34 and single, as a physician in general practice in Norwalk, CT. He is living at home on Elm St. with his parents, Henry and Lydia Cole Selleck E. Edward Selleck, age 42, registered for the WW1 Draft in Sep.1918. He was a physician-surgeon in Stockton, San Joaquin County, CA. His office was at 316 Elks Building in downtown Stockton and he was living at home with his wife Ruby at 332 East Oak St. The 1920 Census lists Ernest E. Selleck, age 42, as a physician with his own practice in Stockton, San Joaquin County, CA. He is living at home on Magnolia St. with his wife Ruby, age 34, and her father, Edward T. Lewis, age 74, a watchmaker at a watch repair shop in town. The neighborhood appears to be upscale. The 1930 Census lists Edward, age 54, as a doctor working at a sanatarium in Aurora, Erie County, NY. He is renting a place for $50.00 a month from the town postmaster on Center St. in Aurora. He owns a radio set and is living in a moderately upscale neighborhood. In his brother's (Chester) obituary, Edward is noted as a physician in East Orange, New Jersey. When his mother died in 1931, neither he nor his brother Chester ever purchased a gravestone for her burial site, thus Lydia's grave is unmarked.
