Mrs. Ermedia May Tinder, 82, will be buried in Nevada cemetery following funeral services scheduled at 2 P.M. Tuesday at Rock Prairie Baptist church, ease of Sharpsville. The 82 year old Tipton county native died shortly after midnight Saturday in a Galveston nursing home where she had been cared for since February. her illness began one year ago in March. Rev. Chester Mitchell will officiate at last rites. The body is lying in state at Warner Funeral home here. Mrs. Tinder was born June 27, 1872 to John and Mary (Tracy) Richey. She had resided in Sharpsville community all her life, and for the past 21 years had made her home in town. Her husband, John Tinder, died June 2, 1932. Two sons and a daughter also are deceased. Mrs. Tinder was a member of Rock Prairie church. Survivors include one Son, Versle, of Sharpsville, and a grandson, Keith, who made their home with Mrs. Tinder. Other survivors include five half brothers, Frank Richey, Sharpsville; Carl Richey, near Sharpsville, Noah Richey, Nevada; Willie Richey, near Tipton; Raymond Richey, Kokomo. Two half sister, Mrs. Dellia Bogue, near Windfall, and Mrs. Maggie Hewitt, near Sharpsville, Service with two other grandchildren.
