I believe the obit is in error there as Bernice is a full sister. The Times Record Spencer, WV 1992 Elma (sic) Bernice Miller, 82, of Grantsville, died Tuesday August 18, 1992 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, following a long illnses. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Tom and Frances Jackson. She was a member of the Brooksville Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Alice Hoffman and Erma McGuire, both of Cairo, and Geneva Groves of Grantsville; three sons, George Smith of Munday and Donald and Ronald Miller, both of Big Bend; two sisters, Loiuse Godfrey of Grantsville and Luella Nutter of Parkersburg; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Services were held Friday at Stump Funeral, Grantsville. Burial was in Hunt Cemetery, Big Bend. References
