ERIC JOHN "RICKEY" MAXFIELD, 40, of BRICK, died Friday, Feb. 18, at home. He was born in Neptune Township and was raised in Howell Township. Mr. Maxfield was a graduate of Howell High School and was self-employed painter. He was predeceased by his mother, Suzann Milocik Maxfield. Surviving are two sons, Richard Maxfield of Brick, and Eric Maxfield of Jackson; his father and stepmother, Norman Maxfield Jr. and Joyce Maxfield of New Egypt; his paternal grandmother, Olive Theodor of Howell; his maternal grandmother, Anna Milocik of Jackson, and two brothers, Nicholas Maxfield of New Egypt, and Michael Maxfield of Howell Township.

Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold. Funeral services will be held during the visiting hours at 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations care of his family would be appreciated.
