Emma Townsend was about 9 years old when the photo was taken. Her father was born in Ireland and her mother in Germany. Emma and her family (including brother Eddie and sister Maggie) lived in the Riverdale part of Chicago in 1900 and 1910. Her father worked for a malt house in 1910.

Emma probably married and I lose track of her after 1910.
